Blue Tarps around the world.

This site is dedicated to the use of Blue Tarp. The idea behind the naming of tarps came from my brother-in-law during a long car ride. It's similar in a way to playing the "punch buggy" game. While driving along the back roads of Maine we called out the names of tarps. Names such as "UnEmployed Tarp, Structural Tarp and Wood Tarp". Check out the current pictures and you'll understand. If you have a picture of a tarp and are not sure what to call it, send it to us @ bluetarps@gmail.com and we'll give it the appropriate name and post the picture in the archive.

Blue tarp on Lost

I noticed a new usage for Blue Tarp this week on Lost during a flashback to season 1. They buried a guy in blue tarp. Not sure if the tarp was supposed to keep the body from decay or that he could not part way with his beloved blue tarp. At any rate check out the photo at Lost Picture.
